This is a true story. Unbelievable but true! I went to the payroll office this morning. I wanted to complain, because I got a raise two months ago but I still haven’t received my extra money. The office was really CROWDED! I stood in line and I started a conversation with a kind man. He told me that the Italian government provides financial aids for employees who have children. However, people never get the money, mostly for bureaucratic reasons. This man brought his cute children with him (apparent age: 10, 8 and 6!!). He said: “Davide, Andrea, Luca…do you see that man behind the desk?? Say HI!! He’s Mr. Ammirati. He is the one who claims that YOU WERE NEVER BORN!!!!...That’s why daddy can’t buy you new bikes”…The kids actually said HI…

When I heard that, I decided to leave the office without asking about my money…
